ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the third respondent to issue Non-Traceable Certificate to the petitioner with regard to the missing original sale deed vide Document No.635 of 1999, dated 30.03.1999 on the file of the Joint II - Sub Registrar Office, Tirunelveli.

2. The petitioner lodged a complaint for missing of a sale deed registered vide Document No.635 of 1999, dated 30.03.2999 before the third respondent. In fact, the husband of the petitioner already lodged a complaint for the very same allegation. It was enquired and closed. However, her husband died and as such, the petitioner lodged first complaint.

3. Considering the above, the petitioner is directed to give paper publication about the missing documents and on production of the same, the third respondent, by following the procedures, conduct enquiry and issue the Non-Traceable Certificate within a period of two weeks from the date of paper publication. It is also made clear that the second respondent must ensure that the said registered sale deed document has not been deposited for any purpose.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
