The learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner submitted his arguments on 20.02.2024. Notice was ordered on the Respondents 3 and 4 and the case was adjourned to 04.03.2024. Subsequently, it was adjourned to 11.03.2024. Still the Respondents 3 and 4 had not engaged Counsel, even though the names of the Respondents 3 and 4 are printed in the cause list.

2.In the light of the above, the Respondents 1 and 2 are directed to extend police protection to the Petitioner to fence the property that was assigned to the Petitioner by the Government. The Tahsildar, Peraiyur, Taluk, Madurai, is directed to instruct his officials to assist the Petitioner. The Respondents 1 and 2 shall afford police protection to the revenue and survey officials at the time of fencing the property. 2/5

3.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
