ORDER

The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the Petitioner had filed this Criminal Original Petition seeking direction against the Respondent Police not to harass the Petitioner on the pretext of enquiry, based on the complaint of the fourth Respondent.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) on instructions of the Respondents 1 to 3 would submit that there was money dispute between the Petitioner and the fourth Respondent, due to which complaint had been preferred by the Petitioner against the fourth Respondent and the fourth Respondent also preferred a complaint as against the Petitioner. The learned Government Advocate would further submit that the Respondent Police will conduct enquiry and close the complaint within two weeks.

3. Recording the said submission, the Respondent Police is directed not to harass the Petitioner based on the complaint of the fourth Respondent. Further, the Respondents 1 to 3 are directed to abide by the circular issued by the Director General of Police/Head of State Police Force, Tamil Nadu, not to entertain the complaints regarding money dispute and property dispute. 2/4
