This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent to grant permission and adequate police protection to conduct Innisai Katcheri programme from 01.05.2018, 02.05.2018, 04.05.2018 and 06.05.2018 for 4 days during the night time from 07.00 p.m., to 12.00 a.m., on the eve of "Sri Mutharamman Temple" situated in Avaraikulam, Radhapuram, Tirunelveli District based on the petitioner's representation, dated 03.04.2018 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 03.04.2018 to the respondents to grant permission and protection for conducting Innisai Katcheri programme scheduled to be held on 01.05.2018, 02.05.2018, 04.05.2018 and 06.05.2018 for 4 days during the night time from 07.00 p.m., to 12.00 a.m., on the eve of "Sri Mutharamman Temple" situated in Avaraikulam, Radhapuram, Tirunelveli District. As no order has been passed in the said representation, the petitioner has filed this writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.
4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation is still pending with the second respondent. Therefore, this Court may pass appropriate orders to consider the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law.
5.Considering the submission made by both parties, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 03.04.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 30.04.2018. 6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
