This writ petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to issue the missing certificate as per law based on the petitioner's complaint dated 12.02.2018.

2. Heard, Mr.R.Ramasamy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Anand, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that when the petitioner was taking her original sale deed in respect of her property for the purpose of taking xerox, it was missing on 02.02.2018 in Andalpuram Bazaar in Madurai and hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the first respondent on 12.02.2018 and the same was forwarded to the second respondent. He further submitted that the petitioner has to go to London for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

taking treatment and hence, the second respondent may be directed to issue the missing certificate with regard to the petitioner's sale deed.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents has submitted that her complaint to the first respondent on 12.02.2018, has been forwarded to the second respondent on 21.02.2018 and on the same date, CSR.No.60 of 2018 has been issued and the matter is pending for enquiry.

5. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the second respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, then he has to register a case and after the investigation, if he is not able to trace out the sale deed, if law permits, then he has to issue the missing certificate within a period of three weeks from today.

6. With the aforesaid observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
