Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to dispose the Proceedings in O.Mu.10123/2023/A1 dated 04.01.2024 and issue Patta in favour of petitioners in respect of Survey Numbers 811/2 and 811/1 for an extent of 1.20 ares and 1.18 acres are situated at Ponnamaravathy West Village, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Pudukkottai District within a time frame fixed by this Court. ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioners and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents.

2.The petitioners had filed an appeal before the third respondent. The only request made by the petitioners is for disposal of the same. No exception can be taken to the said request. The third respondent is directed to conclude the petition mentioned appeal and pass final order 2/4

on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The third respondent shall put all the interested persons on notice before passing final order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. 3.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
