ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by J.NISHA BANU, J.] This writ petition has been filed challenging the Government Order issued under G.O.Ms.No.204 dated 31.12.2024, thereby the petitioner's village, namely Ervadi was upgraded from Village Panchayat to Town Panchayat. 2.After going through the affidavit filed in support of this petition, we are of the view that the upgradation of Village Panchayat to Town Panchayat is a policy decision of the Government and we cannot interfere with the same. The grievance of the petitioner has to be redressed by the Government not by this Court under Article 226 of Constitution of India. 3.In view of the above, we are not inclined to entertain this Writ Petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. [J.N.B., J.] & [S.S.Y., J.] 01.04.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No ta
