ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Section 379 I.P.C. in Crime No. 544 of 2014 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side).

3. It is the case of the prosecution that the defacto complainant in this case is the Panchayat Board President, who has stated that Solar Panel and Battery belonging to the Village Panchayat have been stolen. It is seen that A.1 and A.2 have been arrested and in their confession statement, they have clearly implicated this petitioner by stating that on the instigation of this petitioner, they have committed the theft and gave the property to the petitioner. The case diary also shows that the Solar Panel and Battery were recovered on 19.12.2014 from the house of the petitioner in the presence of the two witnesses of the locality.

4. Taking into consideration the serious nature of allegations levelled against the petitioner, this Court is of the view that it is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
