O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed directing the respondents to demarcate and fix the boundary of petitioner's property in S.No.723/2A to an extent of 3 Acres 22 cents (Joint Patta No.1426) and in S.No.723/6 to an extent of 1 Acre 24 Cents (Joint Patta No.684) situated at Keela Vallanadu Village, Srivaikuntam Taluk, Thoothukudi District and issue patta in favour of the petitioner by considering his application dated 29.04.2025 and 10.06.2025.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the owner of the properties comprised in S.No.723/2A to an 2/5

extent of 3 Acres 22 cents (Joint Patta No.1426) and in S.No.723/6 to an extent of 1 Acre 24 Cents (Joint Patta No.684) situated at Keela Vallanadu Village, Srivaikuntam Taluk, Thoothukudi District. Despite repeated requests, the official respondents have not demarcated the land or fixed boundary stones. The petitioner made applications dated 29.04.2025 and 10.06.2025 requesting the demarcation of boundaries and issuance of patta in the name of the petitioner. Since the same has not been considered so far, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present Writ Petition seeking a direction to the official respondents to survey the land and fix boundary stones within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submits that, after conducting an enquiry and recording the objections on either side, the respondents shall consider the petitioner's applications and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of 3/5

with a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's applications dated 29.04.2025 and 10.06.2025, on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law after providing reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other persons, who may be affected by such decision, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
