This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to take criminal action or departmental action against the petitioner's husband.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner's husband namely Malairaj is working in the Tamil Nadu Police Department as a Constable. He further submitted that when he was working as a Constable at Madurai Railway Police Station, he got married one Krishnaveni illegally and hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint against them and on that basis, a case has been registered in Crime No.46 of 2017 on the file of the All Women Police Station, Melur against Malairaj and Krishnaveni under Sections 498 (A), 506(i) of IPC and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act and Section 4 of Women Harassment Act. He further submitted that the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondents on 09.02.2018 to take criminal action against her husband, but sofar no action has been taken. Hence the present writ petition has been filed.

3.The learned Government Advocate has submitted that the petitioner's husband namely Malairaj is working in Chennai under the control of 7th respondent and the petitioner's representation is still pending for consideration.

4.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the 7th respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.2.2018 and to pass orders on merits in accordance with law at early. 5.Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.
