Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C Praying this Hon'ble Court to withdraw the investigation pending in Cr. No.54 of 2014 on the file of the 4th respondent and enstruct the same to the CBCID or any other independent agency. ORDER : This petition coming on for hearing upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.K.ANBARASAN, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the petitioners, the court made the following order :- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed for granting further time of six months for filing a final report as directed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.22696 of 2015, by order dated 22.09.2016.

2.Originally, this Court, by order dated 01.12.2015, fixed a time limit to complete the investigation and to file the final report within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of that order. The time was further extended by this Court by order dated 22.09.2016 by another period of six months. Now the present petition is filed by the petitioner seeking further time of six months.

3.This Court, being satisfied with the reason stated by the petitioners for extension of time, grants further time of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order, finally, for completing the investigation and for filing the final report.
