ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent to issue patta to the petitioner in respect of the Natham Survey No.192, in First Block No.146, situated at Keeranur Village, Kulathur Taluk, Pudukkottai District by considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 29.09.2016 and by passing appropriate order in his proceedings O.MU.No.3311/2016/A1, dated 13.10.2016.

2.According to the petitioner, the petitioner's grandfather purchased a property measuring to an extent of 67.70 cents comprised in Survey No.192, in First Block No.146, situated at Keeranur Village, Kulathur Taluk, Pudukkottai District in the year 1952. After his demise, his father was in possession and enjoyment of the said property. Now the petitioner is in enjoyment of the property https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and the petitioner filed an application before the Revenue Divisional Officer, the second respondent herein on 29.09.2016 to issue patta in his favour, which was in turn forwarded to the Tahsildar, the third respondent herein to file a report. Thereafter, no order has been passed. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that the representation is pending from 2016, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.09.2016 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as to the interested parties. 4.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
