ORDER
The petitioner was appointed as a Grade-II Women Police Constable on 01.04.2010. She had submitted her resignation and the same was also accepted and the petitioner was relieved from service on 05.11.2017. It appears that the petitioner was facing difficult circumstances on the domestic front. 2.This Court is of the view that when ever a person wants to resign from service, counselling must be conducted. In this case, it appears that such a counselling was not conducted. When the petitioner gave her resignation, it was accepted straight away. The petitioner has submitted a mercy petition dated 13.02.2018 to the first respondent.
3.The first respondent is directed to consider the said representation dated 13.02.2018 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
petitioner's case shall not be rejected merely on the ground that she is not entitled for re-consideration. The first respondent must see if the very acceptance of the resignation was proper or not.
