COMMON PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to receive the application dated 22.06.2017 of the petitioner herein and pass orders forthwith to grant 5+1 Share Auto Rickshaw Permit (Share Auto) to the petitioner herein. In all petitions:

2.By consent of both parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.The petitioners herein are the owners of LMV Share Auto Rickshaw. They want permits to be issued by the respondent authority. In this regard, they have given application dated 22.06.2017. But, the applications were not entertained. Therefore, the petitioners have filed writ petitions for directing the respondent to receive the applications and to pass appropriate orders for grant of Share Auto Rickshaw permit. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
matter. It is open to the respondent to pass orders one way or the other.
4.Considering the urgency of the matter, the respondent is directed to receive the applications and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from today (i.e.26.02.2018).
