ORDER

Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3.

2. This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus, seeking to cancel the patta granted to the 4th respondent and issue patta to the petitioner based on his representation dated 27.05.2024.

3. The petitioner only seeks for the pending representation dated 27.05.2024 to be disposed of.

4. Heard the counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

Considering the limited scope of relief sought for in the writ petition, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.05.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity to the petitioner and the 4th respondent. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
