O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to give permission to the petitioner to conduct "Pongal Festival Celebration" on 14.01.2018 and on 15.01.2018 at vacant site situated near to Shop Door No 7/183/1 at Mukkani Main Road, Puthumanai Ammal Thoppu, Vazhavallan Village & Panchayat, Tuticorin District on the basis of the petition dated 05.01.2018 given by the petitioner.

2. Heard, Mr.B.Rajeshsaravanan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Prabhu, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that every year during Pongal Festival the petitioner conducted "Pongal Festival Celebration". Likewise, in this year also, the petitioner has a proposal to conduct "Pongal Festival Celebration" on 14.01.2018 and 15.01.2018 and for that, he gave a representation on 05.01.2018 to the respondent, but, so far, the said representation has not been considered by the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.The learned Government Advocate has submitted that the respondent will consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders.

5.Considering the aforesaid submission, the respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 05.01.2018 and dispose of the same on or before 13.01.2018.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
