ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 406 and 420 of I.P.C., in Crime No. Not Known of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that neither the petitioner nor his father are accused in any case in their station. 4.The petitioner's counsel, however, insisted that the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner as well as his father were taken to custody on 20.02.2020. It is made clear that when the petitioner is not an accused in any case, the respondent cannot detain the petitioner. If any such occurrence takes place, it is open to the petitioner to move this Court by way of contempt.

5.With these observations, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
