The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.127 of 2013 on the file of the respondent police. He filed this application under the provisions of Section 482 of Cr.P.C., for a direction to the respondent to file final report in Crime No.127 of 2013, pending on his file within a time frame.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions would submit that as of now, in the said FIR, after completing investigation, final report has been filed before the Court concerned and the same has been taken on file as C.C.No.23 of 2014 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ottanchathiram, Dindigul District.

3. The submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded. Hence, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
