PRAYER:Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent herein to accept petitioner's pension papers and forward the same to the respondents 1 and 2 herein to take necessary action for disbursement of her pension and other retirement benefits within the time stipulated by this Court. For Petitioner : Mr.C.Jegannathan for M/s.Veera Associates For R1 and R2 : Mrs.S.Srimathy, Special Government Pleader.

For R3 : Mr.AN.Ramanathan

ORDER

The petitioner was employed in the third respondent school. She retired from service on 30.06.2017. According to the third respondent, she is entitled to be reemployed till the end of the academic year. In this regard, litigation is pending between the writ petitioner and the respondents. But, on account of the pendency of the said litigation with regard to the reemployment, her pension papers cannot be put on hold.

2.Therefore, the third respondent is directed to accept the petitioner's pension papers and forward the same to the Department. It is necessary for action to be taken by the Department for disbursement of the petitioner's pension and other retirement https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

benefits. The entire exercise shall be completed by the respondents within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.This writ petition is allowed. No costs.
