ORDER

The petitioner is working as Junior Assistant in the respondent Revenue Department. The petitioner with a grievance that though he is eligible to be promoted as Assistant, he has not been promoted, has submitted a representation and filed this writ petition seeking a direction to consider his representation.

2.When this writ petition is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, by referring to a proceedings dated 20.10.2025, submits that the request of the petitioner has already been considered and it has been rejected by the District Collector, Sivagangai. A copy of the proceedings has also been furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3.Recording the above submission, this writ petition is closed with a liberty to the petitioner to challenge the proceedings, in the manner known to law. There shall be no order as to costs. 10.02.2026 gns 2/4
