ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to survey and measure the land with regard to the property to the extent of 10 and 5 cents totally 15 cents in Survey No.175/1C is situated at Keelaveeranam, Veerakeralam Pudur, Taluk, Tirunelveli District based on the petitioner's representation dated 20.01.2018.
2.According to the petitioner, originally, the property measuring to an extent of 43 cents in Survey No.176/3 belongs to his mother and after her death, the petitioner along with his brother and sister are in possession of the said property. Further, S.No.176/3 consists of 85 cents, the other co-owners of the property having an extent of 42 cents comprised in S.No.176/3 are now trying to encroach this property. In the above circumstances, the petitioner has made an application dated 20.01.2018 before the first respondent and has also paid necessary fee to measure the property. Since, no action was taken by the respondents, the present writ petition has been filed.
3.Considering the fact that the petitioner only seeks to measure his land, the first respondent is directed to measure the property in question as per the revenue records, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
issuing notice to the petitioner as well as to the other owners of the property in the above said survey number. 4.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
