PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of th enquiry without due process of law. ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the second and third respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry by interfering in the civil dispute. 2.
The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submits that the second respondent police received complaint from the counter parties and referred the same before the Revenue Divisional Officer to initiate proceedings under Section 110 of Cr.P.C as against the petitioner.
3. In view of the above, the concerned Revenue Divisional Officer is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and the counter parties, if any, conduct enquiry, proceed in accordance with law and dispose of the same within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
