the Electricity code and consequently to adjust the February consumption charges on the basis of newly generated Tariff No.VI from Tariff No.I in respect of the petitioner's house property situated at Door No.3C, New Ward No.1, Indira Nagar, Veeravanallur, Tirunelveli District, in connection with SC.No.07-051-031-67, within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner is presently paying current consumption charges under Tariff No.VI. He wants it to be brought under Tariff No.I. 3.The learned Standing Counsel states that in view of the running of overhead lines, it is not possible to accept the petitioner's request. 4.It appears that the petitioner's grievances can be addressed by effecting shifting of the HT line under the DCW scheme. The petitioner 2/4

is called upon to make application in this regard. The respondents shall favourably consider the same and dispose it of as expeditiously as possible so that the petitioner can be relieved of the present tariff burden. 5.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
