Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 498(A) and 294(b) I.P.C. and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, in Crime No. Not Known of 2015 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State.

3. Since no regular case has been registered, this Court had granted interim anticipatory bail on 18.02.2015 for a period of two weeks to the petitioners with a direction to appear before the respondent police.

4. Today, the respondent police is present and filed a status report, in which in paragraph Nos.4 and 5, it is stated as follows: "4. I humbly submit that further on 02.03.2015, both the parties appeared for enquiry before the said Sub Inspector of Police and the defacto complainant demand the petitioner herein to return back her 18 1/2 sovereign of gold ornaments and house hold articles which were given at the time of marriage and the petitioner herein also accepted and gave all the items mentioned by the defacto complainant and after receiving the articles, the defacto complainant gave statement that no further action is necessary on her complaint and also both the parties get divorce through family Court.

5. I humbly submit that based on the above said facts the respondent police closed the petition enquiry and now there is no petition enquiry and no First Information Report pending against the petitioner herein."
