This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to confer permanent status to the petitioners as Sanitary Workers by regularizing their service under the fourth respondent from the date of appointment under time scaly of pay and pay arrears of salary from the date of appointment to till date, based on the petitioners' representation dated 23.01.2020.
2. The case of the petitioners is that the petitioners are Sanitary Workers and they were engaged in service in the year 2013. However, their services were not regularized. Therefore, for regularization of service, the petitioners made representations right from 25.07.2019 onwards and the last representation was made on 23.01.2020. The same was not considered till date and no order was passed. Therefore, the petitioners have filed the present writ petition with the aforesaid prayer. 3/6
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that it would suffice, if the fourth respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioners, dated 23.01.2020, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, has no serious objection for such an order being passed by this Court.
5. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the fourth respondent to consider the petitioners' representation, dated 23.01.2020 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
