ORDER
This writ petition is filed for Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to take appropriate action based on the representation of the petitioner dated 02.02.2026 and not to harass the petitioner and her family members.
2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.
3. The petitioner is running a petty shop. The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent police are interfering with the smooth running of the said shop; in particular, specific allegations have been made against a particular police officer.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) for the respondents submitted when the complaint has received, the respondent has taken action as per law.

5. This Court is of the considered opinion that the respondents are entitled to take action in accordance with law, in the event any complaint is received. However, the respondents shall strictly adhere to the guidelines laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttar Pradesh, reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1, particularly by issuing summons to the petitioner prior to initiating further action. Insofar as any allegations are made against a particular police officer, the petitioner is at liberty to prefer a complaint before the concerned Superintendent of Police. Upon receipt of such complaint, the Superintendent of Police shall proceed in accordance with law.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 24.02.2026 LS 3/5
