ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the third respondent. 2.The petitioner is a resident of Sooriyanar Kovil Village. His contention is that the authorities should not conduct any auction for collecting parking fee for the vehicles enter in Sooriyanar Kovil Village Panchayat. I wanted to know as to how the rights of the petitioner will be infringed. 3.The learned counsel submitted that the petitioner is a resident of the village and that he too will have to pay toll if he is entering a Village in a vehicle. I make it clear that toll charges cannot be collected from the residents 2/4

of Sooriyanar Kovil Village when they enter the village in whatever vehicle. However, they will have to produce identity card to show that they are residents of the village. With this clarification, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
