ORDER

According to the petitioner, she is a permanent resident of Thirumalapuram, Kadayanallur Taluk, Tirunelveli District. She belongs to scheduled caste community and married one Francis and the marriage was also registered by the Special Marriage Registrar, Veerasigamani on 21.08.2017. Thereafter, the petitioner filed an application before the third respondent to issue intercaste marriage certificate and the same was rejected. Thereafter, she has also filed an application before the Revenue Divisional Officer, the second respondent herein. Pursuant to the same, the second respondent conducted an enquiry in which she has also participated and filed necessary documents. Thereafter, no order https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

has been passed. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. 2.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that the second respondent has already initiated proceedings on the application filed by the petitioner, the second respondent is directed to consider the application filed by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
