ORDER

Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

2. Considering the limited scope of relief sought for in the writ petition, with the consent of the counsel on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. The petitioner seeks limited relief of issuance of writ of mandamus to consider his representation dated 18.11.2024. Though the petitioner has sought a direction against the respondents 1 to 6, the learned Special Government Pleader submits that the 4th respondent is the competent authority to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation.

4. In view of the above, the 4th respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.11.2024 and online application for issuance of patta dated 01.01.2025 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law after affording an opportunity to the petitioner as well as any other interested persons. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition is disposed of with the above observations and directions. No costs.
