ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) The respondent No.5 invoking the provisions of Section 131(2) and 222 of the Tamilnadu Panchayats Act 1994 issued notice in Na.Ka.A3/0826/2021 dated 18.02.2021 asking the petitioner to show cause as to why the usufructs in the land alleged to have been encroached would not be removed and possession have not been taken. The petitioner has stated to have given a representation on 22.02.2021. Now, the writ petition has been filed to consider the same before taking action towards eviction.

2. Taking into consideration of the aforesaid facts, the respondent No.4 is directed to pass orders on the explanation given by the petitioner dated 22.02.2021 within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till such time, status quo as on today shall be maintained.

3. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
