Respondents PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to approve the second respondent's appointment as office assistant in the petitioner school based on the petitioner school's proposal dated 25.01.2018.

ORDER

The petitioner school appointed one S.Pavithra in their school as Office Assistant on 22.01.2018. The petitioner school is a minority institution. The said Pavithra is also eligible to be appointed. The appointment was in respect of a sanctioned post. Therefore, there cannot be any objection for granting approval to her appointment.

2.Hence, the first respondent is directed to approve the appointment of the second respondent in the petitioner school with effect from 22.01.2018 based on the petitioner's proposal dated 25.01.2018. It is also seen that the petitioner is a minority institution.

Therefore, the first respondent shall issue appropriate orders in this regard and also disburse the grant-in-aid and other consequential monetary benefits, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.This writ petition is allowed. No costs.
