Heard both sides.

2.The jurisdictional Block Development Officer had called upon the petitioner to remove the petition mentioned encroachment on his own. Challenging the same, this writ petition has been filed. 3.It is well settled that the jurisdictional Block Development Officer cannot take any coercive measures. If the petitioner fails to comply with the demand set out in the impugned notice, the only course of action open to the Block Development Officer is to refer the matter to the jurisdictional Tahsildar.
