This writ petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to grant permission and protection for cultural event namely Aadalpadal scheduled to be held on 03.03.2018 at night in connection with "Maasi Festival" in Arulmigu Sri Valladikaara Suvami Temple at Mettuvalavu Village, Devathanapatti Post, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 10.02.2018.

2.Heard, Mr.J.M.Jaya Karthick, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.Shanmuga Selvam, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondent. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner and his Village members have decided to conduct cultural event namely Aadalpadal scheduled to be held on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

03.03.2018 at night in connection with "Maasi Festival" in Arulmigu Sri Valladikaara Suvami Temple at Mettuvalavu Village, Devathanapatti Post, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni District. Hence, the petitioner gave a representation to the respondents, seeking permission and provide police protection, but, sofar, no order has been passed. Hence, he has filed the present writ petition. 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has submitted that the second respondent has already considered the petitioner's representation and passed an order rejecting the petitioner's representation and he has also produced the copy of the said order.
