ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner seeks a direction that he should be allowed to retire peacefully. As on date, no cause of action has arisen. The petitioner has not been suspended from service. No order retaining him in service has been passed. The petitioner, anticipating that some adverse order would be passed against him, has filed the present Writ Petition. Therefore, the Writ Petition is patently premature. It is dismissed only on that ground. It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the matter.

3.Therefore, preserving the rights of the petitioner to approach this Court once again, if an adverse order is passed, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
