Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents produced a copy of the communication of the Superintendent of Prison, Central Prison, Trichy to the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Madurai Bench of Madras High Court dated 28.02.2024, wherein, it is stated that the petitioner was granted 6 days emergency leave with escort.

2. In view of the same, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition. Hence, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
