PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to direct the third respondent police to provide police protection to survey the land and put up fresh barbed wire fence at the damaged places in the petitioner's property situated in Survey No.196, situated in Santhiyakuppar Kovil Street, Thuvakudi, Thiruverumbur Taluk, Trichy District based on the petitioner's representation, dated 12.02.2015.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed for a direction to the third respondent police to provide police protection to survey the land and put up fresh barbed wire fence at the damaged places in the petitioner's property situated in Survey No.196, situated in Santhiyakuppar Kovil Street, Thuvakudi, Thiruverumbur Taluk, Trichy District based on the petitioner's representation, dated 12.02.2015.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on instructions submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner already a case has been registered by the respondent.

3. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is continuous threat to the petitioner and his family members.

4. Considering the same, a direction is issued to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 12.02.2015 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and give adequate police protection as and when required on being satisfied that there is threat to the petitioner and his family members.
