PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the entire records of the Respondent pertaining to the Memorandum No.1964/GR-IV-OCV/2024 dated 21.01.2025 by respondent for the Notification No.01/2024 dated 30.01.2024 and quash the same as illegal and directing the respondent to accept the petitioner's ''First Aid Certificate'' issued by Tamilnadu Open Unviersity on 23.12.2023 uploaded on 19.12.2024 by the petitioner in connection with Memorandum No.1964/Gr.IV-OCV/2024 dated 10.12.2024 for uploading documents for onscreen certificate verification through the petitioner's Application No.2410908907 and Register No.0303011215 and permit the petitioner to participate in the future selection process for Forest Guard with driving License - (Post Code 3318) for the notification No.01/2024 dated 1/4
30.01.2024 for posts including in combined Civil Services Examination - IV (Group-IV Services) for the year 2024 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 19.12.2024 & 06.02.2025. For Petitioner : Mr.G.Sakthi Rao For Respondent : Mr.V.Paneer Selvam Standing Counsel
ORDER
During the course of hearing, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent has placed a copy of status report regarding this issue. The relevant portion of the status report is extracted hereunder : ''7. In this circumstances, baed on the above facts and letter dated 29.01.2025 received from the Forest Department, the certificate of the Short Term Course in Road Safety and First Aid, obtained form the Tamilnadu Open University, for which results were published on 23.12.2023, as subsequently produced by the candidate has been accepted for the post of Forest Guard with Driving License.''
2. Based on the status report, the learned standing Counsel would submit that the certificate produced by the petitioner has been accepted and he will be permitted for further selection process.

As the relief sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition has been achieved and the petitioner has been permitted to participate in the selection process to the post of Forest Guard, in my considered view, no further orders are required in this present writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
