PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to convene the peace meeting regarding the temple dispute of Arulmigu Sri.Muthumariyamman Temple of Keeramangalam Village between petitioner's Agamudaiyar Karai and the private respondents karai by considering petitioner's representation dated 06.01.2025 within a time stipulated by this Court. This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to convene a peace committee meeting regarding the temple dispute of Arulmigu Sri.Muthumariyamman Temple of Keeramangalam Village by considering petitioner's representation dated 06.01.2025. 2/6
2.Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3.According to the petitioner, the subject temple is a private temple and the petitioner is one of the Karaithar of the temple. The private respondents are attempting to ex-communicate the petitioner's community in the renovation work of the temple. In this regard, the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondents to convene a peace committee meeting, however, no action has been taken. Hence, this petition has been filed.
4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that they are ready to convene a peace committee meeting with regard to the temple dispute between the parties and pass appropriate orders.
5.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the 4th respondent would submit that they also already requested the 3rd respondent to convene a peace committee meeting with regard to the temple dispute, through letter.

6.In view of the aforesaid submissions made by the learned Government Advocates appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 and considering the limited scope of the prayer, the 3rd respondent is directed to convene a peace committee meeting, after issuing notice to the petitioner, private respondents and other interested persons and dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 06.01.2025 within a period of four weeks from the date of this order.
7.With the aforesaid directions and observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of.
