This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the Revision Petition in R.P.No.NK/B1/18345/2020 within a time frame fixed by this Court.
2.Heard Mr.J.Jeyakumaran, learned Counsel for the petitioner, Mr.A.K.Manikkam, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.S.Madhavan, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the fourth respondent. 3.The patta with respect to the subject property stood in the name of the petitioner. This was cancelled by the proceedings of the Revenue Divisional Officer and aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has filed a revision petition before the first respondent under Section 13 of the Tamil 2/5
Nadu Patta Pass Book Act. This Revision Petition was also taken on file in R.P.No.NK/B1/18345/2020. The grievance of the petitioner is that till date, no order has been passed in the Revision Petition. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court. 4.Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to dispose the Revision Petition in R.P.No.NK/B1/18345/2020 after affording an opportunity to the petitioner and the private respondents and other interested parties, on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
