O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the petitioners to call for the records pertaining to the First Information Report in Crime No.02 of 2025, on the file of the first respondent police, for the offences under Sections 120(b), 406, 408, 420, 294(b) and 506(1) of IPC and quash the same.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel on both sides represented that due to money dispute, the defacto complainant lodged a complaint. Based on that complaint, FIR has been registered in Crime No.02 of 2025 for the offences under Sections 120(b), 406, 408, 420, 294(b) and 506(1) of IPC. Now, the matter has also been amicably settled between the parties and Rs.8,00,000/- was received by the defacto complainant/second respondent. To that effect, they have entered into a compromise and the same was filed before this Court. Page No. 2 of 5

3. The defacto-complainant and all the accused are present and this Court enquired about the compromise. The defacto-complainant represented that due to some money dispute, he lodged the complaint. Now, he received a sum of Rs.8,00,000/- from the petitioners and they entered into a compromise. A compromise memo, dated 08.02.2025 signed by the parties and their respective counsel, is also filed before this Court.

4. This Court has perused the terms of the compromise memo.

5. Considering the nature of the offences and considering the facts that the defacto complainant received a sum of Rs.8,00,000/- from the petitioners and they have also entered into a compromise, this Court is inclined to allow this petition by quashing the FIR in Crime No.02 of 2025 on the file of the first respondent police.

6. Recording the said compromise memo, this petition is allowed and the First Information Report in Crime No.02 of 2025 on the file of the first respondent police, is quashed. The compromise memo dated Page No. 3 of 5
