O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to grant permission and to provide necessary police protection during the festival of Sri Sengidai Karuppar Sri Thundhumi Aathal Temple to be held from 03.03.2025 to 13.03.2025 between 06.00 p.m., to 10.00 p.m., based on the representation of the petitioner, dated 08.02.2025. 2.Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that already they had received the representation of the petitioner and conducted enquiry in CSR No.33 of 2025, dated 10.02.2025. The petitioner has sent his representation only through post, thereafter, neither he appeared for enquiry nor co-operated with the respondents for enquiry. However, if the petitioner appears before the 3rd respondent and furnish the relevant documents, the respondent will conduct enquiry and take appropriate action by considering the representation of the petitioner. 2/5

4.In view of the aforesaid submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents, the petitioner is directed to appear before the 3rd respondent on 19.02.2025 and furnish the relevant documents, thereafter, the 3rd respondent is directed to conduct enquiry and dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 08.02.2025 within a period of one week, thereafter, on merits and in accordance with law.

5.With the aforesaid directions and observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of.
