ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sathankulam the expedite the trial in C.C.No.14 of 2024 and the compete the trial within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, he is the accused in this case and the date of F.I.R is 24.05.2023. Now, the case is pending in C.C.No.14 of 2024 and the case is posted for examination of witnesses, but no witnesses have been produced for examination of witness. The case is pending for more than two years, thereby he filed this petition.

3. The Government Advocate (Criminal) appearing for the first respondent would submit that now the case is posted for examination of witnesses and they have to produce the witnesses. They will cooperate for the speedy disposal by producing witnesses as directed by the Trial Court.

4. Recording the above said submission of the first respondent and considering the limited scope of the prayer of this petition, this Court without issuing notice to the second respondent inclined to dispose this petition by directing the Trial Court to expedite the trial proceedings in 2/4

C.C.No.14 of 2024 as early as possible without giving long adjournments.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
