ORDER
Mrs.S.Jeyapriya, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
2. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the writ petition, with the consent of the counsel on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the names of Arunachalam and Chellapandi who are totally unconnected to the subject lands have been included in the Patta No.484. Hence, the petitioner has made an application on 01.07.2024 to the 1st respondent and on 08.07.2024 to the 2nd respondent, seeking rectification by removal of the wrong entries in the said patta. The petitioner only seeks expeditious disposal of the said representation. The 2nd respondent / Tahsildar being the competent authority before whom the representation has been made on 08.07.2024 shall consider the petitioner's application on merits and in accordance with law and after giving an opportunity to the petitioner as well as the two persons namely Arunachalam and Chellapandi shall pass final orders on 2/4
the petitioner's representation dated 08.07.2024 within a period of eight
(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above observations and directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
