This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the the 2nd Respondent to take appropriate action upon the petitioner's complaint dated 29.07.2024.

2. The learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner would submit that he lodged a complaint before the second respondent police with regard to missing of Car bearing registration No.TN -63-AJ-6471. Thereafter, he lodged a complaint on 27.09.2024, but no action was taken. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 27.09.2024 was considered and after elaborate enquiry it was closed. Again, the petitioner lodged a complaint for the missing of his son and based upon the said complaint a FIR has been registered in Crime No. 34 /2025 as man missing and the same is under investigation.

4. In view of the above said facts, this court is of the view that since the representation of the petitioner dated 27.09.2024 was already considered by the respondent police and the same was closed, it is for the petitioner to challenge the said closure of complaint in the manner known to law.

5. With the above observations and directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
