ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to call for the records of the first respondent, vide his proceedings in A5/MC.14/2022 (107) dated 19.05.2022 and quash the same against this petitioner.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the first respondent has issued impugned summons directing the petitioner and the other parties to appear before him on 26.05.2022, that in pursuance of the same, parties have entered into appearance, that the first respondent has then directed the Tahsildar, Tirunelveli to submit detailed report by inspecting the temple in dispute 2/4
along with the village records within a week and that the said enquiry is pending before the first respondent.
3. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the first respondent is directed to proceed with the enquiry and complete the same and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 03.03.2023 NCC :
