[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH,J.] The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents not to open TASMAC Liquor Shop No.10558 at T.S.No.170/2, Nagammal Thottam, Periyar Nagar, Varaganeri Village, East Circle in Trichy District, on the basis of the representation, dated 05.01.2018.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents 2 and 3 would

submit that the proposal has already been dropped and he has also produced the communication sent to him dated 11.06.2018, by the respondent No.3.

3. In view of the same, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
