Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to fix the seniority on par with the first batch based on the marks secured by the petitioner in the police training college as per Rule by considering the representation of the petitioners dated 04.01.2018, 19.01.2018, within a reasonable time.

COMMON ORDER The petitioners were directly recruited in the post of Sub Inspector of Police. They were recruited in the year 1997-98. For want of accommodation in their training college, the selected candidates were bifurcated into two batches. The first batch was sent for training on 16.05.1999. The second batch was sent for training on 22.05.2000. Now, the petitioners are working as Sub Inspector of Police. the first batch based on the marks scored in the police training college. In this regard, they have given representation. 2.The second respondent is directed to pass orders on their representation within a period of eight weeks from today.
