O R D E R

This petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, seeking a direction to the respondents to register the complaint of the petitioner, dated 24.01.2015 against the accused mentioned in the complaint, on the file of the Inspector of Police, Kalaiyarkovil Police Station and direct the authorities to investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and also the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side).

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) representing the respondents submitted that petition enquiry was conducted and closed the matter.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the petition is closed. The petitioner is at liberty to move by way of private complaint. However, the liberty to the petitioner to move by way of private complaint shall not be read by the concerned Magistrate as a direction to entertain the complaint. The entertainment of the complaint will be solely at the discretion of the Magistrate and upon consideration of the merits of the case.
