Mr.M.Jeyaraman, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

By consent of both the parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.The petitioner is a Mini Bus Operator. He has been permitted to ply his mini bus from Karungal to Midlam (via. Udayamathandam Devicode). This Permit was issued on 15.12.2000 and was being renewed. The petitioner's grievance is that the route between Devicode and Udayamarthandam is heavily damaged due to the recent storm and that therefore he must be given an alternative route. In this regard, he has given a representation dated 31.01.2018. 4.This Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter. It is open to the authority to pass orders one way or the other.

5.Therefore, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.01.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 30.04.2018. 6.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
