This petition has been filed to direct the the respondent to grant permission and protection for conducting Kabadi Tournament schedule to be conducted on 13.01.2018 from 10.00.p.m., onwards till 14.01.2018 10.00.p.m., day and night matches to be held at Sports Ground at Avathoor, Srirengam Taluk, Trichy District 2.Heard, Mr.R.Jegadeeswaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Shanmugaselvam, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that every year during Pongal Festival the petitioner conducted Kabadi Tournament. Likewise, in this year also, the petitioner has a proposal to conduct kabadi Tournament on 13.01.2018 from 10.00.p.m., onwards till 14.01.2018 10.00.p.m., day and night and for that, he gave a representation on 07.01.2018 to the respondent, but, so https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

far, the said representation has not been considered by the respondent.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader has submitted that the respondent will consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders.

5.Considering the aforesaid submission, the respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 07.01.2018 and dispose of the same on or before 13.01.2018. 6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
